JEHU LEAKE MILAM (JOHN "JACKEY"⁴, JOHN³, JOHN², UNKNOWN FATHER OF THE VIRGINIA¹ MILAMS) was born November 25, 1832 in Laurens District, South Carolina, and died April 13, 1913 in Grandview, Johnson County, Texas. He married SARAH SLATON POUND October 13, 1851 in Pontotoc County, Mississippi, daughter of DAVID POUNDS and CAROLINE GORDON. She was born March 22, 1832 in Clarksville, Tennessee, and died January 1924 in Port Arthur, Texas.
