I ony know that Shepherd was a very beloved slave and later worker for the family.

Ther is also a little girl, Catherine Milam, daughter of Jesse Rush and Mary Cameron Milam
who is buried there but I have not yet located the grave. She was killed 28 April 1902 in
a cyclone which struck Glen Rose, Somervell County, TX. She was 2 years old.
