1. ANCIL⁶ MILAM (BUISE HARMON⁵, SOLOMON⁴, BENJAMIN³, THOMAS², PATRIARCH FATHER¹) was born October 22, 1854 in Macon County, Missouri, and died October 08, 1922 in Springfield, Missouri. He married MARY LOUISA MCGINNIS December 27, 1879 in Montgomery County, Missouri, daughter of WILLIAM MCGINNIS and ELLEN STEWART. She was born May 01, 1857 in Montgomery County, Missouri, and died July 06, 1918 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Notes for MARY LOUISA (T) MCGINNIS:
Mrs. Ancil MILAM, 61, wife of Postmaster MILAM, died at the Christian hospital in Kansas City 6 July 1918. She was a native of Montgomery county, where she was born 1 May 1857. She lived there until her marriage to Ancil MILAM 27 December 1859. She then came to Macon county where she lived the balance of her life. She was the mother of four (this is incorrect, should be 5 daughters) daughters all of whom survive along with her husband; Mrs. R. Scott MINER, of Chicago; Mrs. A.E. COCKEFAIR of Springfield; Miss Ava B. MILAM of Corvallis, Oregon; Miss Lottie MILAM of Manhattan, KS. She was a member of M.E. church, South where the funeral was held and interment in Oakwood cemetery.
