I'm looking for information on an owner of Milam slaves in Kentucky (Paducah or Columbus, Fulton County) or Alabama or Henry County, Tennessee circa 1865. My great-grandfather was reportedly the son of the overseer of a tobacco farm in one of the aforementioned regions. His name was George Milam. My family web page can be found on this site under African-Americans. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.
